Jewelry Care

MULIKA jewelry are handmade with lots of love, care and attention, using high quality precious metals and diamonds. As each piece is unique and handmade using natural diamonds, there can be slight variations in the jewelry and size and color of stones, so no two pieces are identical. Buying handmade means that you are supporting a craft and design community.

DIAMONDS

"Diamond is the hardest natural substance on Earth. It can cut any kind of rock or metal, but only another diamond can cut a diamond." GIA.

All diamonds are sourced at the Israeli Diamond Exchange and carefully hand-picked.
We work with excellent cut, conflict free diamonds.
Clarity range: VVS1-SI1
Color range: E-H

All MULIKA jewelry can be customized and set with an upgraded diamond of your specific grade upon request.

If you are looking for a diamond of a specific grade or budget please contact us at MULIKAJEWELRY@gmail.com

We offer IGL jewelry certificate, a complimentary gemological laboratory certificate, upon request per client when ordering, with every jewelry of 0.30 carats diamond and up, for free.
IGL will inspect and issue jewelry certificate including diamond grading and evaluation.
Inspection takes an additional 3 business days until ready to ship.

Our center diamonds are carefully selected one by one. Jewelry with 1.00 carats diamond and up often comes with a GIA certificate (If indicated in the jewelry description). GIA is the world’s foremost authority on diamonds.

Diamonds are natural magnets for grease, so they’re not easy to keep clean 100%. The oils from your skin adhere to the diamond’s surface and affect its brilliance and fire.

CARE

As our pieces are handmade using precious metals and natural diamonds, delicate in nature, they should be treated accordingly

We believe jewelry should be worn every day. However, to maintain the longevity of the pieces please remove before using toiletries and cosmetics (cleaning products, body lotion, creams, oils, perfume, makeup or other substances), showering, swimming, sleeping or any strenuous activity. Avoid impact with hard surfaces as much as possible. Avoid exposing jewelry to household bleach or abrasives (such as household cleaners or toothpaste), which will quickly cause gold to discolor and possibly disintegrate.

Gold jewelry does not tarnish, but it can be dirtied or dulled by the oils in your skin.
It is best to have your jewelry professionally cleaned by MULIKA. please contact us at MULIKAJEWELRY@gmail.com  For a simple cleaning at home, we recommend mixing dish soap with warm water in a bowl, soak your jewelry for five minutes, and using a soft-bristled baby toothbrush to gently clean the jewelry, especially behind diamonds or settings. Remove jewelry from soapy water, rinse with water, air dry, then finish with a soft lint-free cloth. We recommend cleaning your jewelry regularly. It will keep its gleaming condition, ready to shine for your next special occasion, and is very easy to do.

Care for prong-set stones - Prongs should be checked every 6 months to ensure that they are tight against the stone. Any local jeweler can inspect prongs and tighten quickly if needed. This is typical maintenance for any prong setting.

Jewelry storage is important as well. Between wearing, we recommend that you place your jewelry back in its original case or another suitably lined box or pouch. There is no warranty for breakage/damage/loss for diamonds. If you want your center stone or jewelry covered against theft, loss , damage, or more, you can insure your jewelry through your homeowner's Insurance.

Give your jewelry some TLC, they are yours forever.
